OUGD402 | STUDIO BRIEF 2 | TYPEFACE

Since this is the type that will be featured on my branding I decided it would be useful to create a full typeface in this style instead of limiting myself to just these letters or an existing font.

The main aim was to create something that does not look so neat and perfect. Since this brief is all about who I am, I think this reflects my personality and my interest in art. I created each letterform using a brush and some black acrylic paint, then scanning them in. I like how each letter is unique and has its own brush strokes throughout.

The only problem this could have is the legibility as it is not as basic as an existing font, however I'm pleased with how they look as they are.
