OUGD402 | STUDIO BRIEF 1 | FINISHED ZINE

Me and Charlotte managed to get 50 copies of our zine printed and sold the majority of them which we were really pleased with. We seemed to get a really great response from those who purchased it and we will be taking it forward again to do another issue (when all our hand ins are done and dusted..) 

 

The front and back of the zine. The motive behind the quite controversial name is that we took a 'derogatory' term related to females and pretty much allowed it to sound powerful. Some people may find this name offensive but in general, those people are clearly not the audience we were aiming this at.

After we started selling them people posted pictures of their zine when they received it in the post:

Doing this project alongside the other briefs we were set in college was difficult at times but very rewarding and is something I'm very proud of! Seeing people enjoy what we'd created was amazing and made me especially excited to begin the next issue.

Next time, we may start to try and get it sold in small shops, it would be great to get a larger exposure and audience.
